Quality Review forms part of the overall JSNA process which has a clear governance structure and defined roles and procedures. The role of the quality review is to provide expert critical appraisal of JSNA topics against the criteria set out below. This is to ensure JSNA topics meet accepted quality standards and prevent the dissemination of irrelevant findings, unwarranted claims, unacceptable interpretations and personal views. The quality review should be carried out in a supportive and constructive manner with suggestions and recommendations made for improvements wherever possible.
