The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities publishes an annual estimate of rough sleepers once a year. The data, at local authority level and published each February, provides a single night snapshot of a particular night in October or November - the date varying by authority. This document compares Nottingham's data with that of the country (both including and excluding London), core cities, Nottinghamshire districts and boroughs and East Midlands cities. Data includes figures since 2010, including the latest snapshots recorded in autumn 2021.

Development by members of Nottingham Inter-Agency Homelessness Strategy Implementation Group led by Nottingham's dedicated Rough Sleeping Coordinator, the Cold Weather Plan sets out Nottingham's approach to supporting rough sleepers in instances of severely cold weather during winter 2020/21.
This charter is an integral part of the Nottingham Homelessness Prevention Strategy 2019-24 and outlines the visions and core values to which partner organisations, groups and agencies in Nottingham will work towards tackling homelessness in the city. Also included is a pledge form, which all stakeholders in Nottingham are invited to complete to show how they could commit to helping end homelessness.
