Description
The Responsible Tenant Reward (RTR) Scheme was created in 2014 by Nottingham City Homes to reward eligible tenants for being a ‘good responsible tenant’. The scheme was reviewed in 2022, following concerns that it was not value for money and due to the limited evidence of its ongoing impact the budget reduced to 500k per annum. Qualifying tenants received an equitable split of the budget, delivering payments of between £26 and £28 per annum dependent on the number qualifying.

Description
The Housing Services Adaptations Policy for Council Tenants with Disabilities and Long-term Health Conditions outlines Nottingham City Council’s approach to providing adaptations for council housing tenants. As life expectancy continues to rise, more individuals are living into advanced age with chronic health conditions or disabilities. Many people are living longer with complex needs, requiring increased care and support. This trend is reflected in the council tenant population group. To address this growing need, we must ensure our housing options are adaptable and inclusive, serving both individuals with lifelong disabilities and their families, as well as older adults whose circumstances may change over time.

Description
Nottingham City Council has a duty under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) to tackle congestion and disruption on the road network. The introduction of the TMA has placed a duty on the council to keep traffic moving to maximum efficiency.
